1970s Ranch
Great Bridge

This renovation reimagined both the home’s entryway and Finished Room Over Garage (FROG), creating spaces that feel more open, functional, and comfortable. The goal was to improve flow at the front of the house while addressing long-standing storage and temperature issues in the FROG—all without disrupting existing finishes the homeowners wanted to preserve.

The Challenge

The main challenge was opening up the entryway and improving the FROG without disturbing existing ceiling textures, newer flooring, or finished areas the homeowners wanted to keep.

Both spaces required creative structural and design solutions to increase openness, storage, and comfort while working within those constraints.

The Result

The result is a home that feels more intentional and comfortable from the moment you walk in, with an entryway that is open yet defined and a FROG that is noticeably more efficient and usable year-round. Expanded storage, improved insulation, and custom details work together to create spaces that function better, feel more balanced, and align seamlessly with the homeowners’ needs.
