Yes. We are licensed to do work in Virginia by DPOR. We have a class B and Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) subspecialty license. The class B is solely for how large a project we can do as a business. The HIC license is the more important license. That states what we are legally allowed to do, and more importantly what insurance will cover if something were to go wrong. We have General liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance. All licenses and insurance paperwork has Cox Construction and Design as the policy holder.
