1970s House
Great Bridge

A custom-built bench seat creates a cozy dining moment within the kitchen, turning an otherwise tight space into a comfortable gathering spot for casual meals and conversation. Thoughtful craftsmanship ensured that practical necessities were seamlessly integrated, allowing the design to remain clean and uninterrupted.

The Challenge

The small 1970s kitchen had a tight, inefficient layout with limited seating options and a poorly placed floor air duct that disrupted usable space.

The duct made it difficult to add functional furniture, and the room didn’t maximize its square footage for everyday use. Overall, the kitchen lacked smart space planning and felt constrained and outdated.

The Result

The result is a kitchen that feels tailored and welcoming—proof that smart design and custom solutions can elevate even smaller spaces into something truly special.
