This master bathroom remodel marked the beginning of our journey together, setting the foundation for a more thoughtful and elevated approach to the home. What was once a dated space with limited functionality was reimagined into a retreat designed for comfort, relaxation, and everyday luxury.
The original tub and surrounding shelf were removed to open up the room and allow for a more generous layout. In its place, an oversized two-person jetted soaking tub was installed, creating a true focal point and elevating the bathing experience. Tile flooring and a fully tiled tub surround bring cohesion and durability to the space.
The Challenge
The main bathroom had an outdated, inefficient tub layout that limited both function and comfort. The original tub was boxed in by a bulky surrounding shelf and required a step up to enter, making the space feel awkward, closed off, and less usable.
The Result
Warmth and character were introduced through carefully placed wood accents, including a statement wall behind the vanity and toilet and a complementary wood detail on the ceiling. These natural elements add depth and contrast, balancing the clean lines of the tile with a sense of warmth and craftsmanship.
The result is a master bathroom that feels intentional, inviting, and timeless—a private retreat that blends function and comfort with elevated materials, transforming an everyday space into a place to unwind and recharge.
